Ignore skin tone she has almost pure light like golden rays almost too bright to look at her. South's dress came down and spread across the sky in a over hanging dazzle. She had these wings of a Phoenix with what looked like a spear or sword of sorts. Her eyes were just this sparkle of a sunspot and a she wore a golden Helm in one vision and these rays of light came off her eyes where she looked. Human skin tone would be like a crisp tan - Moon 

Palace, Residence:

Residence is high up in the air, phoenixes are high up in the air near the Palace. There is a village down below, and methods of getting to the Palace. There is a side section of the Palace meant for village folk to talk to South about her ruling, then a separate chamber for her rooms and private living areas. There is a large, and lavish ballroom and dining area meant for parties, and if invited you are allowed to enter this area. Although, she is not as private as North or West she still has rooms that are not meant for anyone but her. The architecture of the Palace is reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles. Respectively the village below is not peasant French countryside, it's moderately nice and a large shadow is casted from the Palace onto the village providing shade and cooler temperatures.

Ruling Reading: 5/31/2023 - I pulled cards with the Modern Witch Tarot Deck to see what South ruled over; Empress, Queen of cups, Tower, Magician, Ace + Page + 8 of Wands, 6 of Pentacles, 3 of Wands, 7 of Wands, Moon + Sun (luminary deity), Lovers + 2 of Cups (a more romance, self-love epithet but it falls under the South and not just the epithet)

South rules over confidence, courage, self-love, emotional maturity, compassion, being in touch/flow with emotions, passion, creativity, generosity, abundance, expansion, progression, opportunities, resourcefulness, taking action and charge, strategic war/battle plans, competitive, athleticism, challenges, perseverance, orderly chaos, as well as sudden upheaval and chaos, transformation, as well as love, harmony, peace, diplomacy, as well as deep and emotional connections, and luminary magic

Domain: As we know her palace is high up in the sky, with phoenix’s circling it and living inside a special part of the palace. She has her own phoenix in her personal room, and it follows her into her throne room, meeting room, basically anywhere she goes. She has rooms for meetings with others, as well as more battle/armory rooms. Lavish rooms, with maximalism decoration. It feels rich and powerful with every step and turn in the palace. She spends most of her time in the sun room (last picture of her Palace/Residence photos). She asks to be left alone while in this room unless her brother is visiting from the Southeast. Many times her and her brother spend time on the balcony overlooking everything in their point of view.

The palace itself is very warm, but not warm enough to break a sweat unless your running around the place constantly.

The walkway leading to the palace almost falls off, there is a village/town beneath the palace far up in the sky. People can stay in this spot if they are visiting the South and cannot immediately get up there, or need a spot to spend the night after meeting with her before going back to the middle of the compass esque area. It’s a beautiful sight to see the palace get more into view when walking towards it, seeing streaks and flashes of red, oranges, white, and gold is fascinating to see.

Sunday, Tuesday

Sunday - day of the Sun, perfect day for unwinding, connecting with your inner self, and if the weather calls for it soaking up some of the rays. Tap into yourself and reflect on your growth as a person, and spiritually. Give yourself the time you need to rest, and relax on Sunday. Near the end of the day try and get centered and refocused on the week ahead. Energy and emotions might feel soft and gentle on Sunday, you might be a bit more groggy than usual. Allow your body to feel these things and take the time you need to rest, and recharge. If you feel productive use that energy and get some things done!

Tuesday - ruled by the planet of action and energy, Mars. Due to this ruling it’s a great day to get things done. With North ruling Monday (and Monday setting tones), use the energy and momentum from Monday into Tuesday. If you wanted to get something done, now is the time. Launch projects, and try and get ahead of tasks you have on Tuesday. Make clear goals and plans on Tuesdays, and set out and do them or get them done to the best of your ability.

It’s a hotter day than normal on the day of this Festival. What’s interesting about it is that the celebration happens at South’s Palace and people are taken up on phoenix's backs (don’t worry they don’t hurt, or burn - South). It’s not all fire, and sun appreciation and beauty, it’s also a moment to reflect on yourself and the other things South represents. There are certain rooms that are used in the palace; such as a ballroom, a foyer, a lookoff point/balcony, and a large room decorated beautifully typically meant for eating food, and gathering in small groups if you wanted to talk and chat in peace. Everything else is “off limits” according to South, unless there is special permission and clearance from South to go with her to certain rooms. South loves a party though, and is typically seen with a lot of people surrounding her, and chatting with her. Trying to get personal one on one conversations might be hard to get during the celebration. There is music playing in each of the rooms, and the genres typically shift from something upbeat, to classical. A mix of fancy royal music and partyish music. There is no certain culture that this celebration is based off, so there are foods from many cultures.

Drinks: Wine, Other liquor, a punch? (not spiked), colder refreshments, agua fresca, agua dulca, thai iced tea, yellow tea, infused water, water

Food: any and almost all food you can think of, it’s very lavish, barely any hot meals due to the temperature at the palace, colder food (but it doesn’t look cold - South)

“Water is my secondary element, since Fire is an emotional sign. My passion is something that is a deep emotion inside me. Water is life, life cannot exist without water, and fire needs energy and life to thrive. Many people assume that fire and water are opposite to each other, but water and earth are more polar opposite signs however they can find harmony and peace. Same with fire and water, it’s an abnormal pairing but that doesn’t mean it’s automatically negative. Since when has abnormal, or odd meant bad, evil, or negative? 10 - 10 is typically the energy of the number 1 and 0, due to the fact that it’s a double digit it would be reduced to the number 1. However, the number 10 itself has its own energy. 10 is about completion, something is in the physical world and it’s completed. 10 typically is a sign to start thinking of something new, or preparing for a new cycle. 10 is a more extreme version of 9, it shows that sometimes it’s better to be content when something is finished so it doesn’t go extreme and be potentially harmful. There is a gamble though, sometimes taking things a step further can produce beautiful results and be better than ending where it stopped.

Sun - typical association, not the strongest out of the bunch; typically also known as a luminary or a star. It represents the self, one’s personality, ego, identity as a whole. Sun, ruled by Leo and the 5th house has connection to creative ability, and courage. The sun’s energy is powerful, authoritative, leadership, it’s a commanding energy. Which makes sense given the fact that South is seen with weaponry and such (same with Southeast too). The sun is seen as regal amongst astrology as well, as well has health and vitality. A lot of these connections reinforce the idea of whom South is, and partially what she presides over.

Mars - action planet of the zodiac, ruled by Aries (a fire sign). Energy, passion, drive and determination can fall and under the rule of Mars. Mars also has a connection with the military, and South commands her own part of a militia force (Unsure whether or not to say army/military as of right now 05.31.2023) All about getting things done, being confident in your abilities, and being ambitious and determined to get the things you want. South encourages facing your challenges, however, with a battle plan. Don’t rush into things without some form of mental plan, like a back up plan. Doesn’t have to be extensive or over the top, just something in place just in case. Mars can either be very constructive or destructive, much like Fire and Water can. Don’t get so determined, headstrong, and stubborn that you forget your original goal, and brush off helpful advice and perspectives from others.

Pluto - Ironic enough, Pluto is the planet furthest away from the Sun. Which speaks to South’s wide range, and duality. Although, the planet is physically small it packs a very strong punch in terms of energy. Pluto is the planet of transformation, regeneration, and rebirth. Very much like South’s representative animal the phoenix. Things may not look aesthetic on the outside of this planet, but that’s not Pluto’s goal. “Out with the old, in with the new”. The result of this transformation is to be stronger on the other side. The darker side of this planet also rules destruction, death, and a personal association with chaos. Which this follows South’s path of orderly chaos, thought out menace activities. Pluto can be an interpersonal planet, however it has more of an affect on larger groups of people and humanity.

Astrology Observations♣️

When the ruler of your solar return midheaven is in the 1st house, you will have to be very proactive about your career/career advancement that year. This is also a placement you often see in a year where someone receives a lot of recognition for what they do for work.

Lilith in the 3rd house of a natal chart can make someone feel like the “black sheep” among their peers in their early schooling years. You may have been bullied, ostracized, or made to feel left out.

Where you have the planet Mars in your natal chart will represent the areas of life that you will most likely have to defend. For example, if you have a natal 2nd house Mars, you will often have to defend your values (and maybe even your finances). If you have Mars in the 10th you may have to defend your reputation or your career choices etc..

On the topic of careers, if you do not resonate with the stereotypical careers that are associated with your midheaven, you should look at the planets in your 10th house or the planets making an aspect to your MC. For example, let’s say you’re a Libra Midheaven but have no interest in the law, politics, diplomacy, beauty etc.. In this instance, you may find that Uranus is making a trine to your MC this could explain why you may be drawn to a career in technology, science, or social media (this is just an example). So, you essentially have to look at your entire chart to understand why you don’t necessarily resonate with the common interpretations of certain placements.

People who have the ruler of their descendent making an opposition, square, or conjunction to Neptune can often find themselves in relationships that are co-dependent or disappointing in some way. In some instances the relationship may even be one sided as individuals with this aspect can often struggle to see their romantic partners clearly.

A solar return year when you have your solar return Mars in the 1st or 6th house can be a year where you lose a significant amount of weight. However, always look at the aspects that Mars is making to confirm if this is likely to apply to you. If Mars makes a conjunction to Jupiter this may not be the case.

It’s always good to look at the first meeting chart alongside the synastry & composite chart with a potential romantic partner. I have found that the 1st meeting chart can tell us a lot about the purpose and the potential outcomes of the relationship between two people. For those who don’t know how to find this chart, you will need to input the exact date, time, and place that you met a specific person. It should not be confused with the composite chart as it is it’s own chart.

People with their South Node in the 12th house can often rely on spirituality, astrology, psychic readings to help guide them on their life path. Although this doesn’t always have to be a negative thing (when it’s done in moderation) , the North Node in the 6th house contends that individuals with this placement need to work on becoming more rooted in reality. Hence, excessive reliance on the esoteric, substances, or isolation are all things south node in the 12th house natives will need to overcome in order to attain their North Node.

Because you should only ever be learning your ancestral ways from kinfolk. These are just some suggestions but there's many many more!! This is by no means a complete list.

I recommend to avoid authors who downplay the importance of black history or straight out deny how blackness is central to hoodoo. The magic, power and ashé is in the culture and bloodline. You can't separate it from the people. I also recommend avoiding or at the very least taking with a huge grain of salt authors with ties to known appropriators and marketeers, and anyone who propagates revisionist history or rather denies historical facts and spreads harmful conspiracy theories. Sadly, that includes some black authors, particularly those who learnt from, and even praise, white appropriators undermining hoodoo and other african and african diasporic traditions. Be careful who you get your information from. Keeping things traditional means honoring real history and truth.

Let me also give you a last but very important reminder: the best teachings you'll ever get are going to come from the mouths of your own blood. Not a book or anything on the internet. They may choose to put certain people and things in your path to help you or point you in the right direction, but each lineage is different and you have to honor your own. Talk to your family members, to the Elders in your community, learn your genealogy, divine before moving forwards, talk to your dead, acknowledge your people and they'll acknowledge you and guide you to where you need to be.

Impervious Red Velvet Cookie:

The Shadow and Knight of The Apoditic Wizard Cookie. He resides over all matters of warfare and battle. The concept of war and strife is etched unto his mind. The Final Witness of the true nature of the Witches, The Impervious one protects his side of the borders with an Iron Fist.

The Impervious Knight reigns over a tower made of cakes, guarded by the legendary cake hounds of the ancient recipes of the Wizards. Using these he creates an army capable of protecting the cookies from all harm. He guards his side of the borders with pure might. Go West to seek out his domain, but beware for none make it back alive…

The Dark Enchantress bears the weight of the darkness reminding the cookies of the balance between dark and light. The Shadows can aid and hide those who need protection. But blind those from the sights of their enemies. A reminder that the darkness is neither friend nor foe…She protects the borders of Earthbread with the might of the gods by her side. Go to the center of Earthbread, seek out the Millennial Tree…and pray tell she will be there.

“If you're not going to eat it, why get it?” Mobius asked, feeling a little petulant on behalf of the neglected pie. It was a waste of a meal token, not to mention delicious pie.  Loki glanced down at the neon green slice in front of him.  “I’m eating it,” he said, and picked up his fork to swirl it through the perfect dollop of whipped cream on top. Mobius sighed.   “You're not eating it, you're playing with it.” “No, I'm playing with you,” Loki said, his green eyes locking onto Mobius with sudden intent. “Or I’d like to.”

It was such a sudden shift in behavior, it snatched Mobius’ breath. Loki had been relaxed in his chair, a smile teasing his lips. Now he looked at Mobius like a hunter eyeing prey. It was the sort of shift Mobius had seen Loki pull in Sacred Timeline footage, but never since arriving at the TVA.  “Very funny,” Mobius said, trying to move past the strange moment by cutting off another piece of his own pie. As he brought it to his lips, he looked across the table and saw Loki had given up the fork; instead, he swiped some of the whipped cream with his finger. Loki’s lips curved as he mirrored the path of Mobius’ fork, bringing his own finger to his mouth and closing his lips around it.  Mobius almost choked on his piece of pie. Loki took his time cleaning his finger, while Mobius coughed and tried to get the remains down without inhaling more. Heat suffused him, concentrating in his face—which had to be bright red—and pooling in his crotch.  “What—” He broke off with another cough.  “You know, something about mine simply doesn’t taste right,” Loki mused. He uncrossed those long legs of his, rising to his full height, and stepped over to Mobius’ side of the table. The wicked light hadn’t left his green eyes. He put one hand on the table beside Mobius’ plate, bending down so they were nearly eye to eye.  As Mobius watched, his mouth falling open, Loki stuck his finger—the same one he’d just cleaned cream off of—into what remained of the whipped cream on Mobius’ slice of pie. Then he brought it to his mouth and wrapped his fingers around it slowly, holding Mobius’ gaze as he did. His jaw moved, just enough for Mobius to imagine what Loki was doing with his tongue, and then he pulled his finger free with a pop.  Mobius felt frozen in his chair, unable to do anything but watch the events unfold. His heart pounded in his ears, rushing more blood south where he was already hard.   “That doesn’t taste quite right either,” Loki said. “It’s missing something…”  Mobius jumped when Loki took hold of his hand, his fork clattering to the table. Loki folded down all of Mobius' fingers down except his index finger, then guided Mobius’ hand down to dip that finger into the whipped cream. There was hardly any left, just enough to coat the skin.  Mobius felt like everything in the automat had come to a stop except Loki, who brought Mobius’ finger up to his mouth and slowly wrapped his lips around it.  Warm and wet were the first things Mobius thought and then ohhh, as Loki curled his tongue around Mobius’ finger. Mobius jerked in his chair as the sensation went straight down through his body to his cock. He moaned as Loki closed his eyes and sucked, even though there couldn’t have been anything left. Loki pulled Mobius’ finger out, keeping his lips tight around it until it was free, then opened his eyes and smiled.  “That’s what I was looking for,” he purred.

Doctor x ADHD reader

^ My mental state at any given time when anyone asks about what happened yesterday.

Warnings: fluff, It might be a tad long, Grammar mistakes, you may feel slightly offended if you're a nerotipical person, the author wrote this because they didn't want to sleep and needed comfort.

You'd forgotten something again. Was it about your job? Your family? Your friends you hadn't kept up with because you had misremembered the dates for? That one hyper fixation that you had today?

Nothing matched. Your brain was screaming at you for the time you wasted rethinking about what you had forgotten; but nothing came to mind.

A normal day then.

Then, as a distraction from your thoghts a high tech laser blaster thing punched through a brick wall and you started running for your life. Again.

There were alien pepper shaker robots with plungers. Why where they just repeating themselves over and over? Was that just how they spoke, or was there more to it? Was it nessasary to the way they shot lasers?

"Exterminate! Exterminate!" A laser jolted and swished right next to you.

"Right, I have to run."

And run.

And run.

And run. Except, now you had to not crash onto the person-

To late.

"Oh, hello humans! Is this your way of saying hello? Did I miss a decade?"

You reluctanly graped the strange man's hand. You were not fazed by the oddness in the queston; your thoghts were stranger. "I don't think so. It's just the fact that there are alien pepper shakers with plungers after us."

The man's face darkened, his youthful peesona flown out the window. "Where?"

You knew that the police would be of no help and the sadness in this man's eyes seemed to be familiar. "Can you help us if I tell you?"

"Short answer: Most likely."

"Now witch way?"

The question prompted eternal panic. Witch way was left? You couldn't remember. Were you facing north or south? You couldn't just point in a direction, because you had run in a extremely non-linear way.

Words had never been an accurate source of communication for you. Why were you this way? Well, you knew why; you had been diagnosed with ADHD, but that didn't answer your question. Why did you always forget the things you wanted to remember most? The strange man looked rather inpatient at your mental sputtering. You had to do something! So, you did the only thing you could think of at the time. Quickly you grabbed his outstretched hand and ran, guiding him though the chaotic path you had taken.

Your mind had not managed to retain much running for your life, but your feet did.

 ...Pass the blue house. 

...Turning 90 degrees at the broken stop sign. 

...Jaywalking around the stopped cars in the street.

...Turning again after the nameless black dog.

...Though a corporate building.

…And to the familiar building with the tin tanks.

your hand still fully clasped with this stranger you had just met, you spoke in between panting and gasping for air. "This is it. These are the alien metal tank creatures."

As if on cue, the screams not even across the blook started up again and an army of daleks (Not that you knew what they were called at the time) turned into view.

The madman lurched forward in outrage much like a predator looming in on their prey. He was unnerving. "Alright listen up! I am the Doctor, and you are the daleks! You have no right to this world, and It’s protected by none other than me. And you have made a grave mistake messing with me when I don’t have a companion, or anyone to holding me back. Leave before I run out of mercy."

"THE DOCTOR IS UNARMED. WE WILL DO NO SUCH THING."

EXTERMINATE!

A laser shot from the thingy that would have hit the silly man instead wiped by him as I pulled him into a run again.

Hiding behind a dumpster in an abandoned alley the Doctor fiddled around with a metal glowy stick and welded something together from his pockets quickly. "What are you doing?"

"No time to explain, get me some sort of electrical circuit board!"

"Will my phone work?"

Wordlessly the Doctor takes my phone, prys it from it's cashing, snaps it in half, and conects it to a very peculiar looking device.

EXTERMINATE!

The Daleks find us again but this time we don't run. The Doctor chucks the machine at the invasion party they aim towards us ready to end us.

EXTER-

The Doctor aims his tech stick toward the sky causing his device to activate. The result is instantaneous. Every dalek that was in front of us and firing ends up blowing up in several malformed chunks.

More daleks screech out words as they approach us. "EXPLAIN! EXPLAIN!"

"Ha! I've rerouted the your primary weapon to your self-distruct sequence by changing the commands signals! The doctor is never helpless unarmed, you lot should know that by now."

"RETREAT! RETREAT!"

The Daleks start to be enveloped by an otherworldly white glow and disappear all at once.

The mad man seems to return to an upbeat face and seems to slip his mask back on seamlessly as if the darkness never touched his eyes. He looked again to be a harmless Nerodiverrgent, clumsy and meek as if he hadn't just felled a armada of aliens ready to destroy the earth. he muttered under his breath about inter-galactic law, blissfully unaware of all the odd looks his direction who believed him insane.

It reminded you of the mask you had to put up for all the "Normal" people in your life. How many times had you stopped being every thing you were just for a brief connection?

"Hello, I think introductions are in order! what did you say your name was?"

You plunged back into the real world from your thoghts. "Y/N."

"Well, Y/N, you seem awfully calm considering your planet was just invaded."

"I could say the same thing about you. Also how did you do all that? Are you even human?"

"I'm the Doctor." The man enthusiasticly spoke as if that explained the anomalys of the day.

"Is the your last name or did you just have mean parents that named you Doctor?"

"I'm not human, and it's common for my species to have titles we choose for names."

"Right. I suppose another alien species isn't the weirdest thing that's happened today."

The Doctor broke out into a brilliant little grin. And reached into his coat pocket to grab a little black wallet thing. "Hold on I want to see if I'm right real quick. What's on this paper?"

"Um, It's blank?" I don't think I was catching whatever the silly man wanted me to see.

"You are clever! I knew it! And I do need a companion after...." The Doctor pauses in sorrow and pain.

"Y/N, how would you like to come with me?"

"Um, do you travel or something?"

"Oh, I forgot to mention it, haven't I? I go to lots and lots of different places and meet all sorts of aliens all the time. I hope you know most of them aren't like the Daleks. Millions of planets and galaxys and pulsars and planets up in the sky, one day I'll see them all."

It took a while to comprehend what silly man had just said. You adored the stars. And now this man you'd just met had really just asked you to go with him to see and go to places humans wouldn't go for maybe billions of years!? To boldy go were no one has gone before? (I'm an unapologetically ing references and I'm not sorry.) Was this heaven? Had you died in the Dalek attack?

"That sounds utterly fantastic! You're sure you want someone like me?"

"What are you talking about? You just saved my life and were fearless in the face of a world ending threat. If course I want someone like you."

"I just, usually people don't like the way I think."

The Doctor almost seemed offended. "Do I look like a usual person?"

"Good point."

I looked down in slight embarrassment for bringing it up.

"Hey look at me." The Doctor softly grabbed my shoulder and I tilted my face up to meet his sincere eyes.

"You know what I've found in my nine hundred years of life? I found out the people who get called Quiet or shy have the most interesting thoughts. I found out that the loneliest people end up being the kindest, that the people with disabilities have so much more grit and determination than the people that don't, that the people called slow are the most brilliant when they're done analyzing. that the so called freaks and weirdos of the world are twice as clever and twice as kind."

"Do you know why?" I was near tears and shook my head.

"Because people like you and me have to work twice as hard only to get half as far. We have strength, far beyond that the average eye can see because we're trying to make up for faults by working twice as hard. Our struggles make us more resilient, more creative, and better people. We take it apon ourselves to attempt to appear normal in an attempt to make connections, when in really they should be the ones understanding us."

"You humans are so silly we it comes to different ways of thinking. On gallifrey, you'd be celebrated, not punished for what you call a quote 'disorder'."

I hugged him. I hugged him harder and tighter than any stranger I'd ever hugged before.

Tears. Happy tears flew down my cheek. I loved this stranger, not for his looks or wacky demeanor.

But because there is that silly man's arms I knew again what it felt like to be understood.

We were standing in a world of unknowns, at top a street that had just been invaded but I knew one thing:

"I want to travel with you, Doctor."

South Downs cottage - Our Eden

Okay, I've decided to create the cottage that I envision for Aziraphale and Crowley's final retirement at the end of the story.

I have used the Sims 4 game, meaning that I have been a bit limited on a few things, but here it comes, the vision I have for it.

Anyone looking for references, for inspiration, whether it is for drawing or writing, is very welcome to use those pictures.

In a story being worked on together with @daneecastle, called Our Eden, here is the full description:

Our Eden

It felt like it had been two hundred years in preparation. And in a way, it was; the universe had so kindly presented him to the suicidal girl who had made it all possible, after all. It had so kindly given him a way to help her that would change her so dramatically that the effects of it still rippled through current days. His hands started shaking, and he pretended it was the strain of the walk. He had received the rights to that land in 1884, as Elspeth expired in her farm near Fulking, leaving a will addressed to him. He had spent years and years preparing it, honing it to perfection. He had build a proper garden out of the enormous fields, made it something his. Something theirs. Back then, he thought he may have lost Aziraphale, and yet receiving the land had sparked something new in him. He had spent an ungodly amount of time, only planting his trees, giving them time and space to grow into the luscious beauties they were today. He guided him through what felt almost like a forest, infused with his attentions. The apples had started showing- he grabbed one on the way, gave it to the angel. Anxiety spiked as they approached and were about to come into the final view. He pushed him against a tree, blocking his path, and kissed him, passionately, desperately, with all his love pouring out. He was shuddering. He wanted him to- He kissed him, again and again. The tree above them glowed a golden sheen.

"Cro-" more kissing. "Crowley-" Even more kissing. "Mm!" Aziraphale couldn't break away. So he pushed hard. "CROWLEY! What is going on?"

Crowley pursed his lips. Fuck it. He took his shades off, pushed them down into the pocket of his vest. He had never been good at hiding his emotions, his eyes betrayed them all. His anxiety, mixed with unfathomable excitement, was shining through them, he knew that very well. But Aziraphale knew what taking them off meant; he trusted him, he trusted him entirely, and he wanted him to know. "Just... just a little bit longer." He grabbed his hand again, and they were back on the path. Very quickly afterwards, he opened a little garden door, they passed another set of weeping willows, and there they were. The old farm had been rebuilt entirely into a cottage. A ground floor and a first floor, hidden under a dark tile roof. Maroon bricks, intertwined with regular touches of beige on the rims. Big, white windows all around it, giving more than sufficient lighting to the entire place. Large, teal shutters were attached to the walls. The entire garden around it had been fournished as to compliment its outdoor colours, and deeper into it, an enormous greenhouse had been installed, and was already almost exploding with greeneries. "... well. That's-" He forced himself to breathe. "That would be ours, if... if you would like to."

"Wanna visit the property properly, angel?" While he was swimming in his relief that his companion loved what he had created, and could stay there for days, he saw the looks he gave to the place, and of course he would be more than happy to show him what he had built for them.

Crowley took the hand and heaved himself up, cradled Aziraphale's hands into his own and kissed them. "Come on." He guided him back through the weeping willows, through the little garden gate, and they lost themselves into the near-forest he had taken the time of erecting for a century and a half. The trees who were welcoming them into the orchard were none other than apple trees of various types, blessing them with reds, greens and yellows. They were sheltered under gigantic mirabelle plum trees whose branches were hugging their little siblings, mixing their tame golden with the reds of their counterparts. The wind -or so Crowley pretended- was passing through the leaves, shaking them slightly as they passed below them. Like a finely-tuned music, nectarine trees, mixing their blonde and crimson colours into perfectly round and juicy fruits. Extending lower on the ground, several mulberry trees were offering a dark shelter from the sun and from any external view.

With a few steps, Crowley leaned down to pass under them, and leaned against the trunk of one of them, pulling Aziraphale against him. He gave him a kiss and brought him out of the leafy shelter, opening his view to a little vineyard he had managed to put together in the last decade. The vines adorned themselves with the blush colours of the setting sun, and opened their arms to the view of Devil's Dyke below. The never-ending greenery, the valley and the hills were battling for a chance to be seen by their two pairs of eyes, demanded the full spotlight and, in doing so, enhanced each other even more. Far into the horizon, beyond the curves of this landscape, glittered the shadow of the sea, reflecting the Heavens above like the Sun dropping into it burned like Hell below.

In his estimation, fifteen minutes passed before he nudged Aziraphale forward in their tour. They circled the orchard, until they reached the peaches and the pears that were hanging proudly from their trees. He guided him back into the small forest, and quickly, they were entirely covered with foliage above their heads. "I wanted to have more than one originally, but... they just don't know when to stop taking all the space. I thought it safer to just leave the one." This one was a fig tree, whose trunk was large, almost veiny with small craters all over, and its leaves and branches were extending so far beyond it that it had made itself a proper clearing. No other trees were allowed in its protection, and its roots were merrily swimming just below the surface of the ground, peeking through in a few spots. "But, strangely enough..." he brought him to the other side of the trunk and pointed to a large bush whose sharp-looking leaves were climbing up the fig tree like a praying Saint. "It seems to have gotten well acquainted with the strawberries. I don't know how they even appeared here, I for sure didn't plant them, but they've been clinging onto it for about ten years, I'd say." He leaned over the bush and picked one of its fruits, offered it to the angel. "Their taste really is unique, it seems that they've taken a bit of inspiration from the figs above them."

He brought him further into the orchard and back out the other side, and they were back into the garden around the cottage. Bushes full of fruits and vegetable patches were trailing their way around the back fence and contained to a single, rather large area, hidden behind rhododendron flowers. Crowley snapped his fingers for a basket, and did that a second time to collect the never-ending stream of growing zucchinis that were trying very hard to take over the entire area. A few pumpkins were starting to show, and the carrots and potatoes were just about to be ready- only a few additional weeks. Snap. The basket was sent into the kitchen directly. The sun was almost entirely set now, and the light was getting very dim. "If we enter the greenhouse now, I don't think you'll be able to see much. How about we go tomorrow morning, and I show you the house?"

"Yes, I'd like to see the greenhouse with the light, I believe thats where I'll find your best handy work so ..." He gestured toward the cottage. "After you?"

Crowley wrapped his arm around Aziraphale's and led him to the cottage's front door and unlocked it. He couldn't help a deep breath before opening the door, feeling his heart race again. That was it. Everything else would mean nothing if he didn't like the inside. The entry was a short corridor where a thin, dark brown table had been placed for usual end-of-the day clutter; it was open in a way that gave some space for the shoes of the hosts and visitors alike. By its side on the wall, a few hooks had been placed for any coat that needed taking off. It was quite simple, with walls painted yellow and a maroon ceiling. On the left, there was a bathroom as Crowley showed, rather large for the use they may have of it; a toilet, a sink, and, behind a semi-clear curtain, a grand bathtub, with enough space for two people to bathe without feeling the tiniest bit cramped. "I figured that you may appreciate visitors. There are a few families around here, and the kids get easily curious, I'm sure they'll pop by eventually. So... thought I'd furnish it properly, with the toilets and all."

He opened the door on the other side of the corridor, showing the living room, with one mahogany bookshelf taking over the wall in front of them, entirely empty except for two plants crawling their way up to the ceiling and showing off their vibrant green leaves all around the shelves. On their right was a large, arch-like window that would fully lit up the room during the day, in front of which were two armchairs and a small side table. In front of them, he had placed an off-white oak table that would comfortably host six diners, eight if they were feeling generous, but at the moment, a wooden bench and matching two chairs were surrounding it. On the far left of the room, a large couch and a low table were facing a grand chimney. Just before the couch was an archway that gave a hint of the kitchen hiding behind the wall.

Aziraphale wandered into the room, touching the furniture and looking at all the details of the room, a big smile on his face as he explored the living room. "This is so cozy! I love the chairs." He came to the arm chairs and leaned against one. "Do you prefer to have one or the other? Or is it 'whatever closer'?"

Crowley smiled tenderly at the angel. "You seem to have chosen yours already. Go on, try them out- I think you'll like them."

Aziraphale smiled, glad to see that Crowley noticed which one he favored. He sat in the armchair and leaned into it. It almost felt like he melted into the chair. "It's so comfortable and yet not too much so, I can definitely see myself spending a long time in this chair." He got up and walked over to Crowley, "next room?"

He nodded when it was time to get to the next step, and guided him through the archway and into the kitchen. Compared to the other rooms, it was rather small, but, Crowley thought, rather well furnished. It also was entirely Aziraphale, he hoped. Its soft, pastel colours, mainly beiges and teals, were lighting it up quite nicely, particularly considering that the window in this room was not quite as impressive as the one in the living room. It had a small folding table placed against the nearest wall with two high stools, where his basket full of almost overgrown zucchinis was resting. All over the right corner, facing the door leading to the entry, were a large set of counters and cupboards, an oven and a stove. In one of the cupboards, he had hidden as many kitchen appliances as he could find, enough to make the angel's life easier whatever the task he set himself to do. On the left side of the room was the stone staircase leading them upstairs; before it was a glass door bringing them back outside, behind it was one last door to be opened- and that was the big one. His library.

Aziraphale examined every drawer and cupboard. He pointed out the appliances he knew and questioned and investigated the ones he didn't; he was on an adventure through the kitchen, really getting to know everything. He knew this was his place. He had not really gotten too much into cooking,as he usually only made things for himself, but this time was different. He wasn't just cooking for himself. He was cooking for Crowley too, even if his demon only drank alcohol and coffee; he still got to share that experience. He hurried over to Crowley like a little kid. "Apologies dear, I couldn't help but explore. What's the next room?" He tipped his head ever so slightly in curiosity.

"Oooh, I think you'll like it." He really hoped he would. He took his hand, brought it to his lips for a gentle kiss, looking straight into his eyes. "And please, tell me if you would change anything." He brought him to the door, and opened it. While it had not been filled with books yet, the library was covered, on every wall, from the floor to the ceiling, with book shelves. That was a very round and rather high room, crawling all the way up to the end of the first floor, almost eating into the roof of the cottage, and every bookshelf had been designed to embrace those facts. They were accompanying the walls, hugged them perfectly all the way up to the roof. Three more of them, thinner and shorter, had been placed closer to the middle, creating a visual guide to the large window on the left side, mirroring the one in the living room. In that place, he had installed a wooden resting place, with plenty of cushions and plaids to keep it comfortable. Under that bench, he had created a large space to confine all sorts of blankets, tartan covers, pillows and other comfortable fabrics that would prove incredibly useful during the winter period. Covering the ground, he had chosen soft, dark blue carpeting, and placed more ottomans and footstools in the middle of the room, and a small, low metal table had been fixed on the floor for stability. I have been thinking on oaths/vows in LOTR and TROP. Galadriel makes a vow to find and destroy Sauron while she is holding Finrod's dagger in s1, ep 1. The dagger was then made into the Elven Rings. I wonder if that vow is how Sauron is able to bind those rings to the One Ring. He didn't corrupt them per se but used this loophole created by Galadriel's vow. The vow Galadriel made bound Sauron's fate to her and the dagger, which in turn, bound them to the One Ring. This is also why, I suspect, she really wasn't able to enter Valinor in the show (she had other reasons in the books). Her vow in reality prevented her. This is also why she cannot stop fighting, she made a vow not to and Sauron was still around. That is why she had no peace in her heart, her oath was forcing her to find him and destroy him. Also why King Gil Galad said they foresaw she might incidentally be responsible for Sauron's return.

I believe Elrond cautions against making vows regarding evil and maybe the writers got the idea from Elrond's very different choices in LOTR. In LOTR he gathers 9 for a Fellowship to match the 9 ringwraiths. The ringwraiths are bound to Sauron and the One Ring via their rings of power, but Elrond says to Fellowship in 'The Ring Goes South':

"You may tarry, or come back, or turn aside into other paths, as chance allows... Yet no oath or bond is laid on you to go further than you will. For you do not yet know the strength of your hearts, and cannot foresee what each may meet upon the road."

"Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens," says Gimli.

"Maybe," said Elrond, "but let him not vow to walk in the dark, who has not seen the nightfall."

"Yet sworn word may strengthen quaking heart," said Gimli.

"Or break it," said Elrond.

It seems this oath bound her to Sauron just like Finrod's oath bound him to Beren (Ring of Barahir a symbol of said oath) and Erol's oath bound Rohan to Gondor and so on and so forth. She took an oath carelessly when she didn't have the experience fighting her own or Sauron's darkness sufficiently to make such an oath, which is why Sauron said, "What do you know of darkness?"

Sauron may have been correct that Finrod only ever wanted peace and never made an oath to find or destroy Sauron. It may simply be how Galadriel interpreted Finrod's actions through her own lens of vengeance.

This oath created this whole situation and it will be interesting to see how this effects things going forward. Adar said to Gaaldriel in 2x6 when she was imprisoned, "In the end, your drive to prove your virtue will work right into Sauron's designs." And by 2x8, he has all of the rings of power, except the 3 elven rings and he has destroyed Eregion.

Finrod was known for his ability to see into the future. It seems to me in the prologue when he is trying to teach Galadriel about the darkness, he knows what her struggle will be and he wants to give her his best knowledge because he knows already he will die. This is why he tells her one day he will no longer be around to help her. He tells her not to focus on darkness that is behaving like the light, but is only a mere reflection (Sauron), or on the temptation of darkness itself, but on the light above to guide her.

We know she is still learning these lessons. She is the type who just had to learn the hard way. She has to touch the darkness first. She must be tempted by reflections of light that in fact are not light before she can learn how to actually find the light. Galadriel has to go through her own darkness journey and also get her heart broken by evil first. She is Elrond's most recent cautionary tale.

Uncrossing With A Directional/Crossroads Cord-Cutting

Note to Reader: This post is alignment with my "Clear Your Path to Spring Success with Path Clearing Magick". This working can also be done in alignment with a Path-Clearing or Road Opener.

In life's journey, we often form connections with many individuals or situations, some of which may no longer serve our highest good. These attachments or cords, at times, can become detrimental, carrying negative energies, crossed conditions, or even manifesting tulpas that can wield influence over our thoughts and perceptions. To address these issues, the practice of a Crossroads or Directional Cord Cutting/Uncrossing can be immensely beneficial. 

The primary goal of this working is to sever all emotional, energetic, and spiritual ties that no longer serve us, including those we might not consciously recognize or know which direction they are coming from. It's important to emphasize that cord-cutting is not a tool for trivial matters, petty disputes, or seeking revenge. Engaging in this practice during moments of anger or emotional turmoil is not advised; instead, it is recommended to undertake this working from a place of clarity. However, I am not your witch mama lol and as a firm believer in free will, follow your intuition and act accordingly.

By actively releasing these attachments or cords, individuals can liberate themselves from the past and facilitate their own personal growth. As you undergo this process, you may experience a profound sense of detachment from situations or individuals that once held significant influence over your emotions. This newfound liberation can pave the way for a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of emotional, energetic, and spiritual freedom.

Crossroads/Directional Cord-Cutting & Uncrossing:

Items Needed:

1 black figure candle to represent yourself. Also, a plain black candle will work too if you can't get your hands on a figure one.

4 white candles for the Crossroads & Directions

4 pieces of white cord

4 white pieces of paper with your name and date of birth on them

Frankincense and Myrrh incense for consecration

Uncrossing or Banishing Oil

Crossroads dirt (optional) you can also draw the crossroads

Aluminum pan (optional) I love these to burn in. Makes clean-up a breeze.

Candle Dots Adhesive (optional) you can always melt the end of the candles to your surface. However, these $5 treasures make attaching candles to any surface effortless!

Some hair cuttings (optional) I like using hair as a taglock

Directions:

Begin by burning the Frankincense & Myrrh incense. Use the smoke to cleanse and consecrate your candles, cords, paper, and pan.

Next, write or carve the directions on each white candle and for the black candle write or carve your name and date of birth. Or you can taglock it with some hair in a later step when you apply the Uncrossing Oil.

Now prepare your pan with the crossroads dirt or draw (+) a cross to represent the crossroads inside the pan.

Setup spell work like the picture above. Place a piece of paper with your name and date of birth under each white candle… also place the paper and candles in the correct directions… you might need to use a compass app to find the correct directions of the crossroads for you. It may be tricky tying the cords on the candles...this is where the candle dots help out by reducing the movement of the candles coming undone from the pan.

Put some Uncrossing oil on the white candles only. Work in opposites. North to South, East to West.

Ground and call in spirit guides, ascended ancestors, or any patrons or saints you may work with for your highest well-being and potential. You may want to offer some incense and a glass of water as offering while performing the spell.

Now it's time to open the crossroads by placing your hands over your working and say:

At the crossroads, I stand so bold, Where energy flows, boundless and untold. Paths diverge, choices to be made, Energetic roads, my power to aid.

I open the gates, direct the flow, Guiding the energy, high and low. At the center, I lay, in control and sway, Shaping the future, with each word I say.

Energetic pathways intertwine and bind, From the center, I stand, a force of a kind. Empowered and focused, in this sacred space, I shape destinies with my will and grace.

I command the crossroads to open wide, Reveal the path where destinies collide. Unveil the choices, the options to choose, Let me chart my course, win or lose.

Crossroads, part ways, reveal the unknown, Guide me through the journey I must own. Grant me the wisdom to make my decree, As I command the crossroads, open your gates and set my spirit free.

Put some Uncrossing oil and this would be the time to add some of your hair on the figure candle and say:

Here I stand surrounded by cords, shackles, and chains, workings and bindings against me for other’s desires and gains.

Protection comes to me this day and any unserving cords and crossed conditions will no longer have sway. By this uncrossing and cord-cutting, all unserving energy is sent away, back to the sender from which it came.

• Now call in the fate of the crossroads of the spirit gate and light the figure candle:

As I call to the fates of The Crossroads, I call to my highest self. Gateway of Spirit and Soul. I call you forth and invoke your ancient force. Crush and remove all malevolent entities, all unserving cords & attachments, and all curses & crosses placed upon me. Break & dissolve. Bless and set free. As it is now, so it is & so shall it be!

To be set free I will now call to the powers that be, from every fate of the crossroads to release all cords, crossings, and energy that isn’t serving me.

Now it is time to get ready to call in the fates of the crossroads of each direction and light the candles for each direction. Say the direction first and then light its corresponding candle right after. Remember to work in opposites.

North: As I call to the fates of The Crossroads, I call to the Winds beyond the North gate. Gateway of Air and Father Sky. I call you forth and invoke your ancient force. South: As I call to the fates of The Crossroads, I call to the fields beyond the south gate. Gateway of Earth and Mother. I call you forth and invoke your ancient force. East: As I call to the fates of The Crossroads, I call to the flames beyond the East gate. Gateway of fire and rising sun. I call you forth and invoke your ancient force. West: As I call to the fates of The Crossroads, I call to the bodies of water beyond the west gate. Gateway of Water and Grandmother Moon. I call you forth and invoke your ancient force. Let all candles burn completely and when they are finished say:

Consumed by the great and victorious fates of the Crossroads I have been set free.

Release Spirit:
